How to prepare to US investigation?

US investigation of kidneys and adrenals: Before investigation exclude products which can cause abdominal distention (rye bread, pod-bearing plants, raw vegetables, fruits, milk, juices, carbonated drinks), take light dinner on the eve no later then 7 p.m. and in the morning come to the doctor. If you can’t come in the morning you can eat light supper (unsweet tea for example) 6-8 hours before US investigation.

Gynecologic US investigation: For testing with abdominal ultrasonic transmitter you have to have your bladder

Full. For 3-4 hours don’t urinate or 2 hours before testing drink no les then 1liter not carbonated water.

US investigation of thyroid gland, joints, soft tissues, peripheral lymph nodes don’t need preparation.

US investigation of bladder and prostate:
This test is doing with full bladder. If you urinated 3-4 hours before investigation you have to drink no less then 1litre not carbonated drink 2 hours before investigation.

 

US investigation of mammary glands: It conducts during the first phase (from 7 to 10 day) of menstrual cycle. US mammary test is a valuable addition to mammography.
